Julián is a drummer, percussionist and guitar player born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He is currently living in Makhanda, South Africa.
In 2009, he embarked on a long trip around the African continent and in 2011, he settled in South Africa and continued his musical journey, performing with great artists around the country and teaching drums and the passion for music in different schools while living in the quiet town of Makhanda, in the Eastern Cape Province.
In 2018 he obtained the Associate Diploma in Drum Kit Performance from Trinity College of London
He has vast experience performing different styles like ska, latin jazz, rock, punk, reggae, choral music, pop, to name a few. In the last eight years he has been on tours and has been invited to perform at different music festivals like Rocking the Daisies, Festival of Friends and That’s 70’s Fest in South Africa.
He has recorded albums with various artists, such as Wordsuntame and Shackles and Bones, and lately has been producing and recording his own compositions where he mixes influences like latin, reggae, ska and rock into unique pieces of music.
In 2021 he released his first single ‘Acerca de las Ideas’ with a music video where it shows the water problems we face in the city.

Julián es un baterista, percusionista y guitarrista nacido en Buenos Aires, Argentina. En este momento vive en Makhanda, Sudáfrica.
Luego de realizar un viaje por el continente africano, en 2011, decidió mudarse a Sudáfrica y volvió a la música, tocando con grandes artistas alrededor del país y enseñando batería y la pasión por el ritmo en diferentes escuelas en la ciudad de Makhanda.
En 2018 obtuvo el Diploma Associate de Trinity College of London en Performance en Batería.
Tiene experiencia en tocar diversos estilos musicales siendo el ska, latín jazz, rock, punk, reggae y hip hop algunos de ellos. En los últimos ocho años ha viajado por el país haciendo giras y lo han invitado a tocar en diferentes festivales como Rocking the Daisies, Festival of Friends y That´s 70´s Fest en Sudáfrica.
Ha grabado varios álbumes con diversos artistas tales como Wordsuntame y Shackles and Bones, y recientemente ha estado produciendo y grabando sus propias composiciones donde mezcla influencias como la música latina, el reggae, el ska, el rock y el folklore creando piezas únicas.
En Junio de 2021 sacó su primer simple “Acerca de las Ideas” acompañado de un video clip en donde trata con cierto humor la escasez de agua en la ciudad.
